Eliza specializes in international arbitration and commercial litigation, with a focus on cross-border disputes spanning multiple jurisdictions and industry sectors.
She regularly advises private companies, States and public entities in international arbitration proceedings, annulment proceedings before State courts, and commercial litigation, with particular experience in the energy, pharmaceutical, logistics and metallurgical sectors.
Eliza has also served as secretary to arbitral tribunals in numerous commercial arbitrations across a broad range of industries, including energy, insurance and aviation.
Prior to joining Medici, Eliza practiced for five years in international arbitration and infrastructure projects at a leading international law firm in Paris, where she additionally acquired extensive expertise in public-private partnerships (PPP).
Eliza is a member of Paris Place de Droit, in which capacity she contributes to the organization of several events, including the Summer Camp – a flagship seminar program that aims to explore how the next generation of lawyers and in-house counsel can contribute to strengthening the rule of law and supporting resilient global economic relations.
Eliza holds a Master in International Business and Tax Law from the Sorbonne and law degrees from the Sorbonne and the University of Bucharest.
Eliza is fluent in English, French, Romanian and Spanish.
