Valence Borgia, Partner at Medici, is a member of the jury for the "Gisèle Halimi Prize", a public speaking competition organised by la Fondation des Femmes "to denounce sexism through words", alongside Giulia Fois, Julie Gayet, Nathalie Roret, Najat Vallaud-Belkacem and Yseult.
This speech contest, which focuses on women's rights, will be broadcast on Monday 21 December at 8 pm on Facebook.
This Friday, 18 December 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., Marie-Laure Bizeau, Partner at Medici, will speak at the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum conference on the constitution of the arbitral tribunal, alongside Nada Sader, Partner at Derains & Gharavi in Lebanon, and Nadine Kozma from Alem & Associates in Lebanon.
The reform of the French arbitration law will be ten years old on 13 January 2021. To celebrate this anniversary, the "Club des Juristes" is organising a conference during which Caroline Duclercq, partner at Medici, will speak about "The contribution and significance of texts and case law since the decree of 13 January 2011", alongside Thomas Clay, Dominique Hascher and Pierre Todorov. This conference will be online on 13 January 2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm (CET).

Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), New Law College, Pune's Madhyasthta- The ADR Cell under it's initiative GIADRA- An Oracle for ADR presented it's 13th set of Blogs and Lecture for this week on the theme: "Alternate Dispute Resolution Practices and Rules".
The second blog published under the theme is "UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules: The Pioneer Arbitration Framework" authored by Ms. Caroline Duclercq , Partner Medici Law Firm, (Paris - France) and Director, MOOC, International Arbitration, Paris, France.
Valence Borgia co-organises a competition on the International Chambers of the Commercial Court and the Court of Appeal of Paris, alongside with the Paris Place de Droit, the Paris Bar and the Paris Bar School (EFB).
The first round of the competition was held on 15 October 2020 in Paris.
Valence Borgia was one of the members of the jury, which was also composed of :

Frank Gentin (President of Paris Place de Droit - Former President of the Paris Commercial Court); and
Philippe Métais (Partner at White & Case LLP).
The final of the competition on International Chambers, which was due to take place on 5 November 2020, has been postponed to a date which will be communicated at another time.
Valence Borgia has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Paris Place de Droit, an association of French and international legal practitioners with a common goal: to promote Paris as the international capital of law.
